Befriending Project Staff

The Project’s full team consists of 3 part time Co-ordinators and 1 Project Assistant who oversee the daily running of the Project. It is managed by a Management Committee of volunteers, all with different professional backgrounds and their own specific remit within the Project. We also have advisors to the Board from the local Social Work and HR Departments, Police Force and the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration Department.

Project Team Staff

	Elaine Rennix - Senior Co-ordinator Elaine has worked with the Project since 2006 and has over 13 years experience working with young people and their families at Ardfin Road, Prestwick and Red Brae School in Maybole. Elaine works Mon, Wed, Thur and Fri.
	Fiona MacKenzie - Project Co-ordinator Fiona has been with the Project since 2009 and previously worked at Daldorch House, specializing in working with young people with autism. Fiona works Tue, Wed and Thu.
	Lee Boyd - Project Co-ordinator Lee joined the Project in 2010 after working with Aberlour at Ardfin Road in Prestwick and Daldorch House. Lee has over 8 years experience working with young people with additional support needs and is a qualified SVQ Assessor. Lee works Tue, Wed and Fri.
	Helen Millar - Project Assistant Helen joined the Project in 2007. Helen carries out most of the administrative duties within the office but also assists co-ordinators in preparation of reports and with young peoples groups. Helen works Mon - Thu.
