Group Volunteer

If you feel you cannot commit to every 2 weeks or are not confident in being matched with a young person on a 1:1 basis you can complete our application process and training and become a group volunteer with the Project.

Group volunteers help out at group activities or our young people’s committee meetings, offering transport if necessary or to support a young person at an event whose befriender is unable to attend.

Group volunteers benefit in the same way as Befrienders, receiving update meetings, having any expenses reimbursed and accessing all the volunteer support sessions.
