A volunteer opportunity for people who live or work in South Ayrshire. Volunteer befrienders provide one to one support for a young person to build up their self-esteem and confidence. As a befriender you can go out with a young person for a meal, 10-pin bowling, football, golf driving range, do arts and crafts and generally have fun.
Befrienders provide supportive friendships for young people aged between 8 to 18 yrs old with either additional support needs or social, emotional, behavioural problems. As a befriender you can go out with a young person for a meal, ten-pin bowling, visit the cinema or just meet for a coffee and a chat.
